T-Mobile: We're Going It Alone, and We're OK With That

10 years of loyalty to T-Mobile. After I heard about the merger earlier this year I left and tried out Straight Talk, Boost & Simple Mobile. Straight Talk's Nokia E5 (ATT) was OK & service with AT&T was much better than T-Mobile (not saying much) specifically the 3G data coverage. Alas though, being used to Android I didn't stay with ST and switched to Boost. I found Sprint's 3G network to be abysmally slow and very non-existent around here in New Mexico so I though maybe Simple Mobile (usings TMO's towers) might be a deal for $40 for unlimited everything and Android. WRONG! 119kbps download speeds for their "3G" service! PATHETIC. Finally, I said "forget it" I'm going to pay up for a REAL carrier and took over 2 Verizon Accounts that still...
