Will this work in the US
So i have tmobile here in the US and im wondering will this work in the US or not.
cause i really like it, but before i spend the mone just want to make sure all my features, like internet and that wil work with it.
can someone let me know
thanks
yea it will work. t-zones will not but you will be able to set up a web browser. the only thing that wont work is the areas wher t-mobile has the new 850mhz bands due to new roaming agreements.
I have T-Mobile in the OC area in California and my 7710 works perfectlty! Get it, you will love it!

Tmobile Strikes Again!
At least for voice, anyway...I don't think the 7710's EDGE capability will work too well on Tmobile's network. But it should be backwards compatible with GPRS anyway, right?
EDGE is nearing the end of the testing stage from what I have heard thru the "pinkvine". :-)
Who knows, it might come sooner than the June '05 tentative date.
I'm looking forward to EDGE.
Yep - its definately backwards compatible with GPRS. Its on the spec list. Roll on Edge, though!! Using the web on this thing will be fantastic.
has anyone thought that maybe because it has edge it will be released on the only edge network in america? (cingular)

Very buggy and problem-filled
REVIEW:
BOTTOM-LINE: This phone is extremely buggy and filled with problems.
I have been using this phone for about 3 months on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I will soon swap to a new phone. There are just too many problems:
1. Battery. The battery life is extremely short. The battery will run out in about 18 hours on stand-by. Why? See #2.
2. Constant light show. When you lock the keypad, the phone screen will turn off. Good. But here's the bad part: at random times, it will come back on, and stay on. As such, I have sometimes woken up in the night only to find the phone brightly lit up, and draining the battery.
3. Startup. Trying to get the phone to start is a pain -- it takes me at least 4 minutes to actually get the phone...

Looks Like A Toy
Probably will be a big hit for the under 18 crowd... that is if they can wart Mommy & Daddy enough into buying it. Really looks like an X-Box or PS2 controller... gee you think that is what they were aiming for?
how anyone could think that looks like an xbox or PS2 controller is beyond me.
🤣
Actually with the directional pad up top it reminds me of a modern interpretation of either a Sega Game Gear or an Atari Lynx... why though in the advent of the Nin DS and the PSP. Why does Nokia think it can do a half assed approach to the h...
