I was wondering if it is possible to import a Virgin Mobile UK pay-as-you-go phone and set it up to be used here in the United States? They have such better phones over there... Razr, Krazr and others.

those are gsm phones, its impossible to set them up w/ VM usa(they use sprint's cdma network) but u can use them on GSM networks in the us, Tmobile or Cingular(at&t) 😁

I e-mailed virgin mobile about this. They said only the Virgin mobile phones sold in the USA work in the USA. There's not a way to use the UK phones or to use unlock phones with them.
I asked, cause I liked the selsction they have for Australia & the UK better then what they offer the USA.
