Coverage is OK, but not as good as Verizon or ATT. Voice quality is much better than ATT, however. And, if you're near a major city or smaller city most of the time, you will get coverage. I've used it many times to see if places where I'm going will have coverage, and it has been very accurate. In the off-chance that there is no coverage where I'm going, I keep a $5/month tracfone in my car just for emergencies. It uses the ATT network, which is pretty much everywhere. But for monthly price and voice quality (without a contract), Virgin is the way to go. It just announced a $49.99 unlimited plan that goes into effect April 15....
