I am conflicted.

I do find a sliver of humor in this - however - I can not help but find it troubling in some aspects.

Why is a national company trivializing religion in this manner?

More to the point - the symbolism in the commercial strikingly mirrors a black church. Also note the mannerisms of Reggie - the golden inlaid cell phone - and the outside phasad/setting of Reggie's and you have a stereotypical denunciation of religion.

Regardless of your religion or lack thereof, is this appropriate?

Perhaps - it is just me - but from my readings - I do not believe this to be the case.
