Does anyone know why does the audiovox 8900 support more applications than the audiovox 8910?

Or why the new Nokia 6255i is more advanced and supports less applications?

6255 uses a non-qualcom chip, which means it isn't as compatable with BREW applications. Sucks, doesn't it.
