I'm thinkin about Amp'd .........
how about go with a REAL phone service. picture messages and tv is nice, but EVERY ONE has it. cingular and verizon have great tv options, with better service options. A picture or tv feature at a low price is good and all, but it won't give you good voice service.

Amp'd Mobile's customer service is lousy and can't tell ya how many minutes you've used. Not to mention that they hang up on ya and are not professional at all. I had them for 3 weeks and would NEVER go back. Hopefully, if you do get it, it'll work out better for you.

ampd has good voice calls to. The only thing so far that amp'd needs improvement on, and a lot of improvement is customer service. And you do get same coverage as verizon's post paid customers. In my opinion, if you can get past the poor customer service, at $.10/minute is cheap for prepaid cell phone service. and you do not have to buy a huge amount to get that rate, you can buy as low as $20, and you get 200 minutes.
So for prepaid, amp'd is pretty good for the money, and you get good coverage, nationwide basically, tracfone does not even come close. You need to live in a area covered by verizon to get amp'd, but if you dont, there are ways around that.

How do you get around that? I'm thinking about getting Amp'd as well. On their site it's showing that I live in an area that has voice coverage only (no 1x or EVDO)which is fine for me, but saying that I don't live in an area with Amp'd coverage. Riddle me that. P.S. I want the pay-as-you-go plan.

😲 DONT DO IT!!! trust me! do some reserach and read some of the other comments on phone scoop. Amp'd is a HORRIBLE company! they have a bad rating with the better business bureau also.
