ringer questions please....
i'm totally set to get the drift but i have a few questions.
please only answer these questions if you know the answer 100%.
1. can you use media mover to convert mp3s to mmf and use anything you want as ringer? and if so does teh quality go down any from the mp3 version?
2. can you set individual ringers or video ringers for different contacts on your list of people?
3. can you use media mover to transfer wallpapers from your pc to use on the drift?
4. can you use media mover to convert movie files to make your own video ringers?
5. can you set pictures with your caller ID to have their own pictures come up when they call?
6. are there any other features on the phone that you can customize on your own without having to ...

unfortunately i cant answer all of you questions. i have never used media mover my self so i dont know what all you will be able to do with that.
as for question #2, you can set different ringers to anyone you want... as long as its a ring tone and not an mp3.
question #5, all you have to do is take the pic and set it as the person. when you view a contact i will let you know that you have no pic for them. if you do it will show the pic.
question #6, there is a lot you will be able to customize with this phone. ex. text font/color, number color, backgrounds for almost every screen (alarm, text... ect). this is a very cool phone. i can assure you that you will not be let down if you get this phone.

In here you can find lotsa collected Abstract Wallpapers in 800x600 size in the helio folder as well as Some ringers I and some other people have made.

In the programs folder is a Yamaha WSD - Wave Sound Decorator -> D/l and to use it you first use any sound editor to remove all freqencies below 150hz, once that is done or if non are in the wave open it using Yamaha WSD Select Format MA-5 this is the highest quality the phone will accept, then goto Edit -> sample type and convert twice and leave the settings on the highest possible, this will convert your Wave into MMF format you can then send it to your phone using PC Link Pro.
