I have got to be the most indecisive person in the world. 🤭

When I first saw the Helio Ocean, I was like wow I really want that phone. 🤤 I am a little hesitant about trying out Helio because its so new. Also, I don't know anyone else that uses Helio. 🙄

A week ago I thought for sure that I was going back to Sprint. 2 weeks before that I thought I wanted TMO.
I really like the SKLX but it is so expensive and the SK still doesn't have video. 😡

I am just trying to find the best phone and service for ME. I've had people tell me not to go back to Sprint now because of all their issues. Right now Sprint seems like the best choice as far as plans(SERO) go. TMO isn't 3g yet and I don't like VZW or AT&T.

I currently have the Drift, and I have insurance. My phone is not working very well and I suspect it will call it quits here soon. I have had it long enough but see that the Drift is no longer a phone they carry. If I have to use the insurance on the phone how will that be handled. Is there a specific replacement phone I will be issued, and I given the amount the phone was worth toward whatever phones they currently carry? If anyone knows which way it will go I would really appreciate it. For all I text I would like to upgrade to the ocean, but am curious how it will all play out.

I work for att now, and I want out. I'm tired of all the bs we have to put up with, and I just really want a change. I know it's still wireless, and I'll still have to work with unhappy customers, but Helio just feels like a better company to work for.

I've been at att for a year now. What do you guys think?

hey do you have to have excellent or decent credit to get service with helio cuz i wanna get it but my credit sux!!! ☹️

So at my local FYE they have the Helio Heat on sale for 25$ and I am going to get it when it is back in stock. My question is:

1) Is it a pain in the neck to get it activated? Also is it a pain to get it to have my old number?

2)I want to get the 65 plan b/c i txt more than anything but what is my first bill and after bills going to look like? It isn't going to be like 150 bucks a month right?

I am really attrached that everything is unlimited and I don't talk 500 mins,i txt alot. Yes i know I could get the ocean or mystic BUT I don't want to spend that much money on a phone!XP

Any help would be nice. I live in NC and have had alltel for 4 years, I'm ready for something different!

hey i just got my helio mysto and i was looking around in it and all of a sudden im gettin these texts that seem like chat room dating text like for example "hey im a 23/m/fl looking for a hot gurl blah blah blah" how do i stop these from getting on my phone and whats causing it? thank you

Helios so called warranty on the Ocean does not exist. I have spoken with 4 individuals and the company policy is that all defects are user damage. No attempt is made to send a replacement (as stated on their website) while determining if the unit has a manufacturing defect. Mine opened in both directions and jammed. An internal component or spring seems to have broken. they do not offer to even have it returned to be inspected. They also do not offer any supervisor or manage to speak to I have never seen such poor customer service.

Back in September outside of my 30days Helio waived there cancellation fee because I was recieving mis information with their agents. So they told me they was going to send me a RMA label for a refund on my phone. Didnt recieve a label till November because they was on backorder. After I sent the device in for a refend. Early December I recieve $350charge for returning the device late. So I called in about that they took care of that. So I also asked about my refund on my phone, they informed they cant refund my phone since it was out of the 30days, and that the "supervisor" who cancelled my service for me should have not sent me an rma label.
So I asked if they can send me my phone back they said no because its in a warehouse thats not ev...

If I want to sign up for Helio, can I buy one of their phones from a third party like eBay? or do I have to get it through them and pay the obscenely large price...

i have heard that if you go over 160mb of data per month on the all in membership that they will terminate your account i want to know if this is true and if so how easy is it to go over the limit and why do they have this limit in the first place i want to know from people with first hand experience please and also is the ocean really that awesome?

I am thinking about moving to helio and getting a family plan. oh, i also want to get the ocean phone for both lines.

do you guys have any suggestions as to any special deals?

When I receive video messages from other carriers, I noticed that in order to view the whole clip I have to save it first and also the sound is a little garbbled and cuts off after a few seconds? Why does that happen? Also, when will Helio starting using an automated system that you can call to check mins, bal, etc? Right now I have been using my computer and logging into my account. Those are the only 2 issues I have. I love the phone and the customer service is pretty good. 🙂

I've been talking with reps and they tell me that I can send unlimited international text messages but they have no idea if KTF can receive and send.

My girl with KTF has been sending me international but she hasn't been able to receive with my cingular phone.

Does anybody know if KTF works with Helio?

Our crappy US. Cellular contract ends on the first of February and we will be switching to either Verizon/Sprint/Helio our Coverage maps shows that if we had Helio we would get Send stuff+more, does that mean we get all the 3g features, they just wont be as fast as if we were in the 3g area? I want to get the latest and gratest phone though so when do you think we will start hearing more information about the Ocean 2 launch, or if somebody already knows something PLEASE post.

I need a cell phone first and foremost. Some days it will get used a lot, others not at all. But we can assume as much as 5 prime time hours some days.

I also need to be able to access hotmail and yahoo mail since my work firewall blocks it. I need to be able to play MP3s and instant messaging on yahoo and windows live is a plus.

Is the Helio the way to go for me?

I am wondering if I can use the Ocean to connect my laptop to the internet (I can with the drift). ? thanks.

From Phone Scoop overview of Helio; "A national MVNO with a technology focus..."
Helio needs to apply some of that technology to their web site.
Used the find a dealer area from their web site and made the 30 mile drive (15 one way and gas isn't cheap) to the listed dealer only to find out they no longer handle Helio.
I'm willing to give the new kid on the block a legitimate look see but when they can't have the common courtesy of keeping a web site up to date it makes me have serious doubts about the rest of the company. 👿 🤨 😡 😳

I've been getting tons of spam on Yahoo! Messenger on my Helio Ocean from usernames that all end in the domain kandykams.info or myfreecamhost.com. The username in front of the domain name is always suffixed by a seven digit number so it's impossible for me to type in under 10 million possible usernames on my Helio Ocean to ignore that the spam could come from for each username template that the spammer uses. Has anyone figured out a way to block this type of spam on the Helio Ocean?
