obtaining a subsidary code
I recently purchased a new Motorola Droid Pro unlocked. It is mostly unlocked but not fully. Motorola told me that I need to obtain a subsidiary code from Verizon. To use on the Tmobile. However the Jackasses Verizon always is refuses to release it because I am not a Verizon customer. Is there any way around getting the code to get this phone to work for me? I don't want to think that I spent all this money on an unlocked phone and get nothing out of it. Thank you in advance.

Call Global support. Be persistent. Eventually you will get a rep who will give you the code. Only nine out of ten reps are A holes.

Is this global support you speak of is it still a branch of Verizon?

Also what should I say to global support to convince them to cave in an give me the code I ask for. Thanks.

Verizon doesn't sell unlocked phones, meaning you bought it from an unauthorized seller. Verizon is not obligated to provide the code necessary to use it on someone else's network. The Verizon Global Support folks won't do it either unless you're actually a Verizon customer. And all this talk about being persistent and they'll cave will just make you more frustrated because they can't give you something their bosses don't train them for.
