New phone new carrier!! HELP!!!!!
Unless you live in an area where Sprint service sucks, there's no reason to give any other carrier the time of day, especially if you don't have a contract hanging over your head.
The moment their BYOSD program hit's the market, I'm picking up a phone on eBay and dumping Verizon.

1) BYOSD = Bring Your Own Sprint Device.

Ting has made agreements to allow almost ALL Sprint or Sprint-MVNO devices to work under their calling plan structure and billing. When implemented later this fall, that means I can pick up a legitimate Sprint-affiliated handset on ebay for $50 and activate it on a dirt-cheap calling plan.
2) My Verizon bill, even after my 18% corporate discount, is over $250 before taxes. The EXACT SAME level over coverage through Ting is $130. Verizon is 90% more expensive....
Is Verizon a better carrier than Sprint? YES!...

The only downfall is if you want the latest/greatest you'd have to buy it at full retail. Can I ask the if this company is partnering with Sprint then why dont you just sign up for Sprint?
I'm still rocking Verizon's Galaxy S generation ONE from fall of 2010, so it should be clear that I personally don't care about being an early adopter on the hardware side.
Additionally, the amount of streaming video I do every year is measured in minutes, not hours. Paying Sprint for unlimited data on 5 lines when all I need is one GB per user each month is kind of ridiculous.
Going straight to Sprint is only a couple dollars less than paying Verizon, about $220 a month. That's still 60% hi...

I don't need unlimited minutes, unlimited text messages or unlimited data. Verizon and Sprint (and AT&T) all force me to buy a product I don't need in order to get the only part

If that benefit dissolves, then leave.
That's me. I''v always been a Sprint fan. It just never seemed the right time. I am paying $275 a month now at VZW for four devices. Three smartphones and one dumb one.

I was thinking about switching to verizon and getting and Iphone, but the salesperson at Verizon was telling me about the Galaxy SIII so now I'm torn.
First of all I would never look for additional information from a Verizon rep when I was in the store wanting to buy a phone. You can't know how knowledgeable that person is and whether or not they have a reason to push a particular phone. It's best to do as much homework as possible in advance. That includes checking out the available accessories and handling the phones if your friends/family have them. If not handle them in the store because there's no substitute for seeing how they look and feel. If you're not sure do what I do, which...
