Best Android?

Guys, I am leaving the wireless industry soon, so will be switching carriers to either AT&T or Verizon (my current company I work for isn't an option, and the free service is barely worth it).

What has been the best Android phone for you guys so far? Anything on the horizon? I will be switching towards the end of August or early September, but would hold off for a little bit to get the next best thing.

Atrix has been the best thus far, but if you wait there is a 3D phone coming out...if you're into those kind of gimmicks

Not sure how I feel about the Atrix...

I have seen rumors of the LG Optimus 3D coming soon, and a slide out keyboard version of the Samsung Galaxy 2, as well a version of the HTC Sensation...

Any idea regarding the Galaxy 2 or HTC Sensation, and whether those are just rumors or fact?

Pick up an SGS 2 unlocked unbranded...

Use XDA developers for custom ROMS ....Doesn;t get any better
No sense in using an android based device if you are not going to take full advantage of it...

I would say to wait and see what the Galaxy S 2 will look like for AT&T. I'm on the fence between that and the iPhone 5 myself, mainly because I just don't know what the iPhone 5 is going to be like and my upgrade is in October anyways, so I could be fine with either.

OK, so, now that I have a little more time, it depends on what you want. There aren't many options with sliding keyboards, for instance, though the Pantech Crossover and Motorola Fipside are two good mid-range Android phones with sliding keyboards. With a touch screen, you can really pick any of the 4G phones available now besides the Veer (haha, the Veer) and be good. I would probably say the Infuse is the best of them.
