Pantech Link 2 (P5000) cant view MMS or pictures sent via texting ??
My wife has a Pantech Link 2 (P5000).
She cant open or view pictures that are sent via text or MMS ??
Anybody know why ??
When she gets a picture text it ask to download & when you hit DOWNLOAD it looks like its downloading but nothing happens ??

Do you have a data block on the line? That would also block the ability for MMS.
MMS does not draw from data but must have the capability to function.

She has NO Data plan on her phone.

You do not have to have a data plan, but you cannot have a data block in place.
Call Customer Service to see if there is a data block, and remove if you want to be able to send/receive MMS. However, note that if she accidentally hits the internet button you may incur data pay-per-use charges @ $2/MB (minimum charge for any access is $2.00)

but if she just wants to open a picture sent via text...will there be a data charge? ?
she NEVER uses the internet on the phone ay all
