Are people receptive to this giant 5.3in smartphone? I read on the internet that Samsung has sold 2m Galaxy Note's worldwide, and hopes to sell 10m by the end of the year.
So what have customers been saying so far about it?

One of my clients has one. Seems more like a trendy device that will fall out of favor quickly. You look like an idiot holding it to your face and it's still not big enough to work as a reasonable tablet.
That said, it's got an impressive display and is fast as the dickens.
...
I hear it's too big for one handed navigation. 🤣
...
I wouldn't go that far, but the thing is huge. It's something that's great in theory, horrible in practice.
...
And for some strange reason ATT's version is .3 bigger than Europe's Galaxy Note. As if 5.0 wasn't big enough already ATT had to get Samsung to make theirs 5.3!
...
Oh, I thought the international version was 5.0, loops!
...
I guess your at&t troll hate got the best of you 😲
...
🤣 !
Ahh, the only thing I hate ATT for is 08 & 09 going by and they never followed the GSM upgrade path to HSPA 21 & 42. I don't like tech companies who stand still. I like companies that keep moving forward. Such as Verizon, they will be the first in the U.S. with LTE-Advanced.

MEh ......A Phone is not a "fashion statement" Its a tool. The larger screen is very handy. Samsung sold millions. The International Note II should be out in a few months.
Plenty big enough to replace a tablet. There are custom Tablet Roms available as well. making it equal to a tablet in everything but size.
...
Actually 2m.

This is one of the best phones I have had. I am a phone aholic and buy phones a lot. I have had 3 other android phones and this is the best one making it the 4th phone is a year. I have no problem texting on it. It is probably easier than the 4.5 size phone. I will not be getting another new phone for a while.

As someone who sells the phones, there is a great interest. It's more of a niche phone though, if people ask about it I say it's not for people with small hands (just like I said the HP Veer wasn't for people with big hands 🤣 ).
The large screen, to me at least, seems a little off-putting. I have the Skyrocket, and think 4.5" is plenty big. My friends always comment about how big my phone is, so I really can't imagine the Galaxy Note. Both using it, and fitting it in my pocket.
At some point, you gotta figure you're getting too much phone 😁

Been using the GT-7000 one and I wont go back to a smaller screen. Looking forward to the Note II. No need for a Tablet. Not too big not too small. IPhone looks like a key FOB when I see one.
