OTA mytouch 4G
Got a question. In order for me to receive OTA from T-Mobile does the T-Mobile sync on the phone need to be on? I thought it only sync contacts.

I don't think so...not for OTA update. You just need to be within good coverage and have good signal to be able to receive update. 🙂

Really? I thought the corporate stores received a SD card with update so they could manually update everyone's (MT4G and G2) phones? I received my Gingerbread OTA update like 3 weeks ago(I have a G2). My brother has the MT4G. I need to ask if he has received update... 😕

When I was with Sprint, there was an option on my phone to search for updates. Not with this phone though. That kind of sucks. Still love my phone though 🙂
