ANY INFO ON THE I930?

HEY DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON THE I930? I WANTED TO KNOW THE RELESE DATE?

There is no release date as it has not been type accepted by the FCC yet. Look for a mid to late 2005.

Next time try not typing in all capitals...it's rude.

Well the relese date has not been disclosed by Nextel but I found one person on Ebay that is selling them, the last one I saw selling went for a little over 800.00
Awesome phone but you can get a nice T.V. now days for 800.00+

ebay doesnt mean much unfort. becuase they could always be reported to the FCC becuase of selling something that hasnt been oked for nextel, partners, boost, or southern linc. those auctions always gets thrown out. i have seen that happen with the i860.

Yeah I never thought about that. Well I wonder how they are selling phones that have not been approved or released by Nextel? How would you even get ahold of a phone like that... I guess if you work for Motorola, but I would imagine you would loose your job for something like that.

yea, if you sell phones that are beta, which expire in 30 days after you activate it, that is ok, however that software can not be upgraded unless you are motorola. if they sell real versions one on ebay, that is kind of against the law, becuase your not allowed to sell something that hasnt been provisioned for that carrier. its basically like saying if the fcc doesnt OK it then you cant sell it. same with this process i think. nextel could sue, if they wanted too. that is why you wait till they come out to buy it legit, instead of the illegal way.
