V710 features for Alltel
To those who have already gotten the V710, I'd like to know whether the bluetooth file transfer is fully functional as well as the ability to email pics from computer to the phone. Basically I'd like to know whether Alltel has limited multimedia functions and still require a date cable or access downloads or can I just use bluetooth file transfer and email properties?

The ability of sending video clips on all of Alltel's network is not possible, only sending still photos. Video messaging is only available in "high speed' Access areas, and those covered locations in that network just include like three counties, for instance, in Cleveland, Ohio. It seems like for Alltel to offer higher end phones, they need to have a plan to upgrade their network over a much larger area than what they're offering now.

Yes, i've tried the v710 and it is indeed a great phone and it's great that Alltel now has it. There are many positives about the phone, and one of the key features is the video capture feature, but watching video on the phone's screen is not the only purpose, what about sending it?
