anyone know of a way to get on of these phones via Alltel, I am a new customer less than thirty days old and i really want one?

Buy one. Pay retail price. If you upgrded phones and signed a new contract less than 15 days ago, you can return the new phone you just got and get a Curve at the 2-yr contract price. If you're beyond that 15 days, a store manager might be willing to bend the rules and let you into a Curve without paying full retail.
