Then why have I and pretty much everyone else been told the Pro is the end of the year? Is it because the merger is 'supposably' done by Nov 5th

i dunno i was told by a supplier that they would be delivered within the week that the pro was coming out first...thats all im working on and the merger is on the docket for vote on the 4th so the merger will be final aslong as it gets the votes i assume

this merger thing was nice at first i was kind of excited only because 1) Better phone and 2) i could text my friends with no worries of them getting charged...however it seems this is done on this date and this on that date but you wont see it until this date and you wont be a customer of this company until this date and its like okay, so Alltel is the name of the company...and will most likely remain this way until proven otherwise

just got an email stating that there releasing diamond now that there not sending my pro's their sending diamond.....and the diamond is on the web now. i wish they would make up their mind

i have to see it and mess around with it....the first touch was junk in my opinion, none of the people i know that have it can stand it, i just hope they have steped there game up on this one. but i still would rather have the pro

yea im thinking this is nothing like the touch, therefore they wouldnt release a touch pro which is like a touchII. But was the touch really that bad? i almost thought about going to it once the price drops...but since pearl can do MMS as of 10/27 i may stay still for a bit, unless the service gets any worse or trackball dies on my pearl.

i have a 8830 so mms isnt a real big issue for me i dont care about a camera but i would like to recieve pics when someone doesnt send them to my email, i really want the storm!

ah heck yeah the storm is worth going to verizon all on its own id say 🙂 i love blackberry i see why its called a crackberry lol but when i seen they made one with a camera and was told about the mms feature...but was lied to about it...aside that i was pumped!! then the battery overheated alltel made me buy a new one, yeah I had to buy one and this was when the phone was 2 months old ☹️ but in the mean time when it overheated it melted the gaskets under my screen so that voided its warranty, drops calls because the radio likes to shut off randomly and the trackball likes to stick and stop working and to top it off no help was offered to me. but im eligable for an upgrade, just not seein it fit to spend all this money on a phone that as a c...

yeah i deal with them all day long i have used every smart phone alltel has to offer and blackberry is the way to go the curve is the best one right now but hopefully the merger will go through and i can get my hands on the storm with all the bugs worked out, although there shouldnt be too many of them....

Well how can i get that issue i just told you about fixed ive talked to like 8 people and they have told me how they have gotten phones at discounts there just because they have had issues like mine...but i cant, i mean i work in an att call center and we help customers in similar situations, he*l my girlfriend even got help and her phone wasnt even as bad off as me and she got a glimmer for free lol and i cant even get a discount lol

well u have lots of options, if you want to keep the pearl u can do what is called an xbm, if you want a differnet phone(like the Curve) you can just upgrade to it at the sale price. Or you can call the retention department @ customer service and tell them that ur unhappy with the pearl and the service u recieved that ur willing to stay with alltel but u would like to use ur upgrade and pick out a phone and find out how much they will give it to u for. because they have a little more pull in the price department

Ive tried all this and XBM sees it as physical damage since battery got to hot and i had to buy a new one but gaskets are melted under the screen ☹️ and i tried to get a new phone like the curve but they blew me off with even asking for a small discount for the service i recieved, contacted retention...they hung up on me and the other person said sorry ill just cancel you... 😳 and everytime i call...im nice because duh i work in a call center i understand there days and im not trying to be a rude/difficult customer.
