The picture looks good, but it has the Touch specs listed.

I have read on other forums that the Diamond is suppose to come out for Alltel Oct 30 and the Pro Nov 13

I have heard that as well but I thought the pro came out Nov. 7. Either way they are really close to being released so I'm happy 🙂

I'm just wondering about the price. Hopefully it will be close to Sprint's price margin if not lower.

It looks like they took the HTC Touche's page and edited it with a picture and a paragraph to the left of the picture about the Diamond. But the Specs, mail in rebate and 3D view all give HTC Touch info, I'm guess it will change closer to the release date if not on it.

Who would wait to get the Pro instead of the Diamond? I am not sure of which one i should get..

I am not sure either, but i think i will stick with the Diamond. The feature against the pro is the Sliding QWERTY keyboard. I do not use QWERTY i use T9. My current phone is a slider (Moto Z6m) and it has NO durability.

On the other hand. If I did buy it it would be because it has more RAM and more ROM and a 16gig expansion.

I believe the price is $50 dollars more. I may get the Pro and if I think it doesn't have durability then i will get the Diamond.

I know this is a double post but check out the link again. They Changed the Specs!... Although the 3D and the mail in rebate is still the Touch. .... I just noticed that it says it will have a QWERTY keyboard.... is this talking about the onscreen touch keyboard? or is the lazy Alltel people about to make the Pro's page off of this one? Lol

My two main reasons for getting the pro will be the Slide out KB and the expandable memory slot..

Well you can get the diamond. Then, if you don't like it, you can trade it in for the Pro when it comes out.

I know they have a 30 day return policy. I think there are more days for smart phones though.

Dang it... I should have held out for my upgrade for one more year... instead I got this RAZR 2 that is starting to annoy the heck out of me. It looks like its worth it.

Hmm. Never had a RAZR. Only Moto phone I've had, which I currently use, is the Rocker Z6m. It's annoying as well. I'm so ready to upgrade!

I wanna say it's 15 day exchange for normal phones and 30 days for Smart Phones... but I think you can still only cancel the contract within 15 days.

But that was 4 months ago when I quit Alltel, it may have changed.

I was in our Corporate store yesterday and they actually have the Diamond in but they are not allowed to sell it yet because it is an exclusive online sale right now.

The manager of the store knew nothing of us getting the Pro I really hope your right about the Pro I played with the Diamond they showed me and it is impressive but I need the Memory Card slot and the keyboard!!!!

If pictures are easy to find thats great but dont bust your butt. I really just hope we are getting it soon I am out of contract and want to sign a 2 year before the merger and I need the slide out keyboard.

Actually we have 3 phones that are coming out of contract right now and 5 that are already secure for another 19 - 24 months, any idea when it is coming out for alltel I have a feeling they are going to release the Diamond on 11/4 in stores it is already online.

Yeah, it will be here come beginning of Nov. I believe the 7th but I'm not sure.

Though I'm not a QWERTY person, 16gb of space will be nice For the price, I may just stick with the diamond.

I definately need the keyboard and I really like that there are numeric keys that stand alone along the top row too.

Im excited I can hardly wait although Alltel says they are not getting the touch pro the pictures do not lie!!!!!!!

The pro will come to Alltel. We probably won't hear anything until next week about the Pro.

I went to Best Buy to see their Unlocked CDMA version was pretty similar to the GSM version... Altho it cost $699 at Best Buy. Newegg.com offers it for $512.

But it was surprisingly much smaller than I had anticipated. It was very slim and sexy though!

I saw the Sprint HTC pro as well. I loved the chrome they added on the sides.

The Pro and the Diamond are a lot less bulkier and are much smaller than the Touch. I love their design though.

Yeah, It is. I had Read that it was $150 somewhere and I guess it just stuck with me.
I believe Alltel's Pro will be $300 as well.

I have read reviews over at PPCgeeks.com and found something interesting. Most Diamond owners do not like the stock software that comes with the Diamond because it is very slow. They have a few free ROMSs available. These ROMs are much faster than the stock ROMs

There are a few ROMs witch you can flash on your phone.If they make a Juicy ROM for Alltel I will probably try it, but currently it is only available for Sprint and ... Telus?

It would only be currently aval for those due to fact that Alltel was just released the other day and as of now is online only, once they can get their hands on some phones it will quickly roll out. You can donate to the teams working on it from PPCgeeks site. They are takeing donations for TP devlopement.

So, the Diamond should be out today!

So I got the diamond thursday. There are the occasional problems, but overall I really like it. But I havent completely committed to the phone yet.

Probably sluggish software. I heard it can be slow at times from several people. That's why I'm going to see how fast/slow it is and debate about flashing it with a upgraded ROM.

You can never go wrong with a custom rom.

The response has been slow once or twice, but usually it works great. The main concern I'm having right now is battery life.
