Alltel Blackberry Pearl MMS
Anyone know of anyway to send these or recieve these on the Pearl Yet and is it worth getting the touch or should i spend the more major dough on the diamond, im sure the touch will be 89-99 when diamond comes out

you can send mms thru email with the pearl as most are aware. email can be sent to phone numbers of every carrier you just type it in differently. However mms should be fixed on the pearl when the 4.5 release is posted. I sure hope so...it will just make it easier in the long run.

So basically thats not true about being able to send to phones, unless you have something different so can you please share on how to do so and ill gladly try it but when i try to send from my email on my pearl to another phone such as how im told 5555555555@message.alltel.com and still nothing just a bunch of jibberish

yes you can send to phones. it is thru your email. hoever the "address" you put in is for example
5551239876@message.alltel.com
other carriers have their own address that goes after the ten digit #

what I think is funny as hell is that my Verizon Pearl sends picture messages like none other just fine and I dont have to email them.... 😈

mind telling me how? because the alltel pearl dont even have an MMS option...so you must have a software update...

on the 27th of this month the 4.5 release will be available and it will allow mms messaging on the pearl. You will have to down load it from the alltel website.

go d/l the 4.5 update for cell south, delete the vendor file. update it and viola

or you can wait til the 27th and get the legit one from alltel. I dont like to push the envelope when it comes to downloading a new software for my phone...would hate to get a HUGE roaming bill because the PRL was not able to update correctly...

Just spoke with Tech Support from Alltel and he knew NOTHING of this Oct 27th Release, called blackberry....they said "Sorry sir im unaware of anything for this 'update'"
