pointless, its not a smartphone, yet you have to have a smartchoice plan ๐คจ
so y pay $300 for a non smartphone and be forced to have a smartchoice plan, when you can have a HTC Diamond for $50 more with full blown internet?
I DONT GET IT!!!! ๐

USCC has it for $99.95 after MIR. $20 for the data. I though Alltel would of made a new data feature for the Delve.
...
Well Yoboy your first issue is that you didn't chk ur pricing $199.99. second is that if the phone has a full browser that will require use of data services then why not require a smart choice plan where the customer will not receive data charges? You are failing in this fight really u are.

#1 i was miss informed
#2 shut up
#3 i think its funny for you if you work for Retail Alltel ๐คฃ
...
I am glad you admit your mistakes that is good. As for number two you started this thread not me. and number three I do not work for Alltel in any way shape or form.

So I'm sure you could get away with having an all axcess pass on your account to cover any internet usage.. or i guess they call it something else now, since it covers anytime minute usage.
...
I have not looked at the phone but if it is a full web browser as it says it is, the Axcess pass will not cover it you are talking about true data flow not just minutes from your plan.

well is there a difference in the internet usage as far as the billing is concerned... all axcess pass compared to an actual data plan? Is there a way for them to tell a difference??
...
i assume since no one answered this that there is probably no way for them to really tell unless i'm on the net all the time.
...
No there isnt. Ive had a smartphone on my plan for a year now and used the Axcess minutes to cover data charges. It works great! The trick is to get a tech to keep your plan the same, but change the ESN.....Activate the phone, call customer service to add axcess minutes and tell them its a regular phone.....boom. Done.

Mappa12!! just the person i want to talk to. What smartphone do you have? I was thinking about doing something like that, but wasn't sure if they would catch on and charge me for it. I was told that blackberrys are the only phones you can't do it with.
...
I have it on a PPC-6800. Possibly right on the Blackberry problem. I know thats not possible, but any other smartphone is able to trick the system. I had a Samsung Hue, got a PPC off ebay, called and got a tech that seemed "new", she was a female as well....I said, "I have a phone I got in the mail and need to activate....want the esn?" and she said sure.....didnt ask which phone at all....completed the process on her end, then said for me to turn off old phone and power on the newone...then dial whatever numbers....Bam....done. Its been working great for a while now.....let me know if you have any questions or a success.
