It's gonna happen in Wisconsin regardless, as Verizon doesn't have to divest any of the Wisconsin network. While Verizon has plenty of spectrum overlap, their physical network barely overlaps, with Appleton being their main overlap.

To the OP, don't make any changes just yet. Wait until Verizon can take over your Alltel market in Wisconsin, and then from there, look at the plans to see what they offer, and decide what works best for you. But the best time to make any changes is when Verizon takes over your market, as that will allow you to changeover to a Verizon plan w/o an ETF, if still under contract.
