So here is some news to be concerned about. The direction that Circuit City is heading seems to indicate liquidation. Why is this important to me as an Alltel employee you ask? Well we just got off of a call that indicates that if Circuit City folds there is going to be a surplus of legacy Verizon employees that will be integrated into current legacy locations. Again you ask what does this have to do with me as an Alltel employee. Wel here is how. All non-essential and/or redundant Alltel locations will be closed, with the bulk of the employees at such stores not being transitioned.
