5550 flipping out
ok...so ive had my 5550 since christmas(this christmas, so its still in the one year thing) and ive already replaced it once. but now...my screen is really starting to mess up. before it was a black/white screen here and there, but now i cant even turn on my phone w/o seeing the black screen of death. ive tried restarting it...calling it...nothing works. we've only got mayb 3-5 months left of alltel...do u think i should get a different phone...or just go with another 5550 to last the remaining months?

go with a different phone, thats what I would do personally, get the new nokia coming out very soon. The Nokia 6255i, it does everything the Motorola v710 does and more.

Yea, the new Nokia 6255i will put the Mot V710 to shame. I've never liked the "pronged" charging port/adapters that Mot has stayed with over the years. You won't have to worry about the Nokia's port/adapters wearing out after a few months and displaying the "charging error" message that comes on the Mot phone's LCD. The acc.'s that the Nokia 6255i has planned to launch are worth the wait too. There's a digital pic. frame that allows you to easily display your high-res camera pics in a sweet pic frame. There's also a media convertor that allows you to view/watch your pics/videos on your TV via the wireless Bluetooth tech. I've heard its going to be released in mid-late July '05. Wait, it'll be sooo worth it.
