Yea but having to sign a year contract just to change my plan from Local Freedom to National Freedom, we're not talking about gettin a new phone, just changing my rate plan. I think thats fuc*ed up.

Well welcome to number portablility!!! The consumers demanded it and now all the carriers are going to do what ever it takes too keep their customers including any carrier you may choose to switch to. The general public needs to be careful about what they ask for when they have no clue about the consequences of what they are asking for.
