Ex Clearwire customers watch for unauthorized charges
I purchased and iSpot last August with no contract. Clear's 4G service was too spotty to be usable so I canceled the service. I received an email from Clear saying my iSpot service was suspended and would be canceled in 60 days unless I reactivated service. Six months later Clear unilaterally activated my service and charged my account for four months service before I caught it.
I made four phone calls totaling five hours on the line with Clear. First they denied I ever received a cancellation email. When I found the email, after much searching, they could not explain why the service was reactivated nor could they explain the cancellation email. They still refused to refund the charges.
