Is GAIT being used much?

Are there any GAIT capable networks out there?
Will this be dead soon? 😳

UP COMING PHONES!!!!!!!!!

I am a singular/motorola fan but if the T725 (EDGE) phone is going to be constructed as cheap looking as the T720, i think i will go for the V600 no FM but thats ok.

"Unavailable Calls"

In the last two weeks I have received numerous calls from "unavailable". The calls will remain open with silence until I hang up. Verizon's official position is that there is nothing they can do to identify the caller. I really don't care who is doing this, but feel there must be a dept. that can contact the caller and ask them to stop. Anyone know how to cut through red tape on this one? I have recent data on exactly when the calls occurred.

Boost mobile

Does anybody know when Boost mobile will arrive in the Pennsylvania area and how popular is it where it is being sold now? 😁

Question about EDGE

Edge is defined in the PhoneScoop glossary as:

--------------------------------------------- -
EDGE

(Enhanced Data for Global Evolution)

An upgrade for GSM/GPRS networks that triples data speeds over standard GPRS.

Because it is based on existing GSM technology, EDGE is a smooth upgrade for GSM network operators. It also works within existing spectrum, making it ideal for countries without dedicated 3G spectrum, such as the US.

--------------------------------------------- -

Does that mean it will work with current GPRS client phones?

PS Rich if you see this "exsiting" is spelled wrong in the original article. And I love the spell checker in the new forums!!
