Samsung, Sprint Team Up With Beyonce On B'Phone

Today Samsung and Sprint announced the Beyonce-branded B'Phone, an updated version of the UpStage. It shares the same hardware specs as the UpStage, but is redesigned in gold and burgundy colors. Along with the new color scheme, the B'Phone will be preloaded with a Beyonce-styled start-up screen and B'Phone owners will have access to exclusive Beyonce video and picture content. Along with its dual-sided design, it has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, support for up to 2 GB in the microSD slot, and EV-DO data. It will be available online and in Wal-mart stores November 4.

The SGH-F300 Ultra Music (aka upstage) was marketed all across Europe with Beyonce in print and televison advertisements. THAT'S why Beyonce's attached to this phone.

Get a clue before you sound like an uneducated moron next time with all this "ghetto" garbage. SAMSUNG has the contact with Beyonce not Sprint.

Why Samsung? Just kill it already.

I could care less if Beyonce is on it or any other entertainer. My issue is that the upstage was a device failed from conception. It's astounding that noone along the way has put the brakes on it.

First the black, then the red, now the burgundy. Instead of making different colors of a phone with severe usability issues, why not make a new device that people can use?

I am glad that both of you dont have a clue about phones and dont decide which phone come to market and which dont. The UpStage has been very successful despite the user challenges, if any. Most phone user want a product that is different and trendy...
