Motorola and AT&T Announce the Karma

Today AT&T and Motorola together announced the Karma QA1, a new messaging phone that has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and homescreen access to social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace. The Karma features an integrated, threaded messaging center that lets users see all their messages in one place. The Karma also comes with a 2 megapixel camera, video share capabilities, microSD card support, and stereo Bluetooth. It has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios as well as 850/1900MHz HSDPA. It will be available starting June 28 for $80 after rebates with new agreement, including a mandatory $20 messaging plan.

For the whiners...
As far as this goes, I have AT&T...Ive tried signing up with sprint and verizon and when you buy a PDA phone, you cant skip the option to add data. This is the same thing. If youre looking for a normal phone? Buy a normal phone. Don't get a text specific device.
