The sudden obsolescence of S60
The smartphone category has really expanded beyond the handful of PDAs with built in phone there seemed to be when S60 was king. The range of touchscreen UIs (standalone proprietary to OS overlays like Sense on top of Android or the various UIs to make Windows Mobile functional) have really come a long way from gimmicky iPhone imitators to serious communication tools.
Bottom line: I can't see myself buying another Nokia/S60 phone unless they get with the times. And I feel kinda petty & impatient for thinking that way, but technology has moved along prett...

And don't forget about Moto's Blur UI over Android that will be on the upcoming Sholes for Verizon. We're yet to see what that's all about though.
