portal email for blackjack
Pardon my ignorance. I have always kept a yahoo account as my main email address and I've even got it on my business cards. I just got a Blackjack and I want to know if anyone can tell me the best way to integrate it with my Cingular service so I finally use Outlook again. I've heard that Yahoo Go will convert them to text messages, but I'd like to hear a bit more before I go through with setting that up, especially if it is going to cost me. Thanks.

I don't know about Yahoo Go as I've never seen or heard anything of it.
However, last I knew, the only way to get yahoo e-mail to work with a pop3 program like outlook, you'll have to upgrade your yahoo mail account to plus which gives you access to your mail through pop3.

You are correct. I finally found this out for certain on the Windows Mobile Tutorial site. It is only $19.99 a year and it is working fine for me. The only issue I have now is one of some redundancy. It seems that Cingular's Xpress Mail and Outlook are both trying to do the same thing and I can't get rid of XM. I'm a rookie for sure, so I will deal with it until I can figure it out or convince one of my IT guru friends to do the Mighty Mouse thing. Thanks for the info.
