t-mobile my touch
well..? any thoughts?
i just recently got my g1 and can't tell you how much i love this phone. was an avid berry user, and a sidekick user years before that.
g1 trumps them all. doesn't trump the iphone completely, but definitely kicks the iphone in the knees.
so mytouch (g2) will not have a physical keyboard. i think i'll stay with g1.

i used to have a curve 8320 and i gotta tell you i miss the berry! i wanna get the 8900, but i cant seem to pry away from the G1!!

The myTouch is pretty good. The battery life lasts a lot longer than the G1 (I've gone 30 hours straight without having to charge it). The keyboard itself does take some getting used to though. I still like my 8900 better for the type of work that I do (BB's push e-mail has no competition) but the myTouch is an all around great phone.

I like the myTouch, ive had it now for a few weeks, and it has its high and low points. Its sleek as hell. I definitely like the form factor, except that THERES NO CAMERA BUTTON!!! the virtual keyboard takes a few days to get used to, now i use the predictive feature a lot more and that helps.
The battery does seem to perform a bit better, but as far as i can tell, that can be modified via updates in the future anyways (in addition to adjusting screen brightness, disabling gps, bt, etc...)
I keep going back to my G1 tho. We still cant rooth the myTouch, something to do with the SPL on it... I have my G1 rooted with the HTC Hero Rom on it and until i can modify the mytouch ill be using that.
