Droid!!
My original droid A8555 or whatever it is, is now updated to 2.2. Where can I find the flash player? Am I missing it in the app store? Could someone walk me through it?

Flash player isn't visible on the Android market yet for us Droid users. Something wrong with Flash or something else. That's what I've been reading. I got mine at http://www.mediafire.com/?r5ymzmnox5z. You need to go to allow unknown sources in your settings before installing, by checking it in settings->applications. Take in mind it's still a beta version. Still buggy and all. Good luck.
