when is 2.3 coming out for droid X?? any body kno??
there arent many phones that have 2.3 unless all your friends are rooting thier devices. but do you even know what the differences are? cause for most users the 2.2 update was perfect.

my friend has the nexus one and is not rooted has 2.3.3 his phones battery life is really good and has a couple of other features that i liked

Well, the Nexus series are pure Google - no mods made to the OS. Most phones have a lot of UI modifications made by the manufacturer and therefore take longer to get.
