What os should my father-in-law switch to?
Currently, my father-in-law owns a blackberry. But with the current state of RIM and blackberry going down the tubes, it seems that this company will not last beyond another year or so. That worries my father-in-law to the point that he wants to switch to a different phone and OS. He tried Android by purchasing one of those Sony tablets that uses it, but he did not like that OS. I was thinking that maybe he should go to either Windows or iOS. I have an iPhone with iOS and love it, but my father-in-law has this thing against Apple in general and he loves his PC computer. So, I was thinking that he might like Windows phone. I would like to know other people's opinions though. Which OS should my father-in-law switch to? Thanks in advance...

Well I believe most users right now either go with IOS or Android. Windows 7 OS is a good OS and highly compatible with PC, the downside with Windows 7 phones, is that applications can be "dragged and dropped" such as with older model windows phones (6.5 or below) and can only be added via Zune on the computer. Which can be a nightmare to use. I (personally) am partial to Android. Windows 7 sounds like your way to go based on what you have described above, like I said there are some downsides, but there are downsides with all phones. From what I understand there are more applications avalible for Android and Iphone, and Android is by far the most customizable of the OS's out there as far as I am concerned.
