Motorola v197 unlocked call barring - AT&T
Bought a V197 plain old phone w/ good reception & talk time. All the features (AFAIK) the phone has work on my AT&T network EXCEPT the call barring (reject certain #s). Doesn't even show up under Settings > Security.
Told by both AT&T / Motorola support was no way they could make it work - just not compatible w/ some network features since it's unlocked phone.
Is there any software or any way I can get this feature to work? Understand for many phones, there's often freeware that allows tweaking all sorts of features on phones.
Where else might I check besides here?
