I have a choice of geting a v400 or a nokia which is non flip (from cingular) with what am I better off?

any feedback on the v400?

are there any new phones about to come out?

TRY TO AVOID THE V400 SO FAR.
IT IS HAVING MANY MAJOR SOFTWARE PROBLEMS...
