Two-Tone Molorola V3???

I got a Motorola V3 from ebay supposedly in "New Never Opened" condition. The phone is supposed to be lavender and half of it is but the bottom half looks light pink in comparison. The seller said this is normal.. Really?? I havent seen a lavender one so Im not sure.
