Does anyone know what the deal is with the RAZR MAXX? Is it coming out for verizon and if yes then when? I keep reading that it says 2nd Quarter 2006 but I don't know what that means so if anyone can shead some light about anythign regarding the phone, please post something. Thanks

Hardly the case since the phone has already been seen on the Motorola site with Verizon branding on it.
Verizon will be getting thsi phone 1st, but no doubt with Verizon UI and not Motorola UI.

i dont think so!! did you read its a gsm phone verizon is a cdma network..unless they come out with a different version of the v3xx i have one and currently using it on cingular and t-mobile here in losangeles california..good luck verizon users its a nice hand set 😉

I will come out for verizon wireless, before it comes out with any GSM network. It is too a CDMA phone there are two verisons of it smart one motorazrguy_2007. Ya know like the SLVR. There is the L7(gsm) then there is the L7c(cdma). There is the Razr v3(gsm) and then the v3m(cdma). There is the KRZR k1(gsm) and k1m(cdma) get the point????????????? Besides verizon is the only one that has released branded pictures of it.. So they are close!

Will the negative publicity Motorola has taken re whether or not the RZR is canabilizing sales of the the KRZR because consumers don't think the KRZR has enough improvements to justify the higher price affect the timing of the release of the MAXX?

The Razr maxx is coming out for verizon wireless in Feb(next month)! They are already getting the rebate forms in at the Corporate Stores
