v710 Ring Change on Charge
Yo, ya'll.
question: when I put my phone on the charger it automatically changes my ringer to "loud". This is quite annoying. Is there any way to change this seemingly default option? Will this be fixed in the upcoming firmware?

you're right, this is a default option, and no, it most likely will not be changed in the new firmware flash. It's not a defect, so there's nothing to "fix". Moto programmed thier phones like this with the assumption that if the phone is on while charging that you'd still want to hear it ring since you couldn't feel it vibrate.
There may be someone on the boards here that can tell you how to change this, but I haven't found anyway to do it yet (not that I want to) to my v60. Course the forums seem pretty quiet today for some reason...maybe tommorrow.

With Moto, you can set the phone so only your assigned distinctive rings, ring. Your REALLY important calls, ring through while phone is charging with power on. People you don't know or didn't assign a distinctive ringer, will just vibrate
Menu>Ring Styles>Loud Detail>Calls:Vibrate.
