KRZR K1M Verizon can't set ringtones for different people?
I sold one of these to a family member and she cannot set different ringtones for different people. When you go to your sound settings menu all of the different ringtones are locked. The literally have a little padlock on the front right bottom corner of the ringtone. I select a specific for someone in her phonebook and when that person calls her (even with area code) it still rings the default ringtone.
I pulled another K1M out of the box and the menu looks exactly the same. The ringtones are locked.

Is that the VZW model? If so, I have one, and I can't figure it out. The menu system is terrible.
I had a V600 with ATT/Cingular for 2.5 years and I could customize the heck out of it. The UI on this phone is beyond terrible.
Pretty sad that a phone from early 2004 could run circles around it, but that's Verizon's doing. My KRZR: Can't reorder menus, can't customize buttons, can't assign ring tones to individuals, can't assign ring tones to groups, can't transfer anything via blue tooth between phones, can't create shortcuts for items buried deep in a menu, can't do pretty much anything that a Motorola phone can do except make calls, which, by the way, works great.
