A Best Buy rep in Indy just told me that they were set to release a new Sanyo in 2 or 3 weeks, I believe it will be the 7400.

who will have it first sprint, best buy, or radio shack.

do you know who is getting the phone first.

Sprint is due to release the 7400 in September and the 5600 in December. Sprint will be the first to have them. The 7400 looks just like the 7300 except it will be a multimedia phone which is on the samsung 700 and it will do all the things the samsung 700, except it will also have redylink.

Will either of these phones have bluetooth???

If they were too that would be nice, but I seriously doubt Sprint will lean towards bluetooth phones again...But you never know..Just don't get excited about that feature..

the 7400 looks absolutely nothing like the 7300. Unfortunatley, the pics are somewhere in the Sprint Intranet abyss, so I can't post them.. it's retarded proprietary info.
and secondly, bluetooth is not dead! The LG PM325 slider phone coming this month or october will have it.. and it will be badass, mark my words. ssshiiistah.. 😳

I stopped by Sprint store the other day and they told me MM-7400 will be coming sometime this Oct and MM-5600 will be coming sometime this Dec. I'm not pretty sure, but MM-7400 will be have 1MP camera... I will wait until both of them are coming up and see what's the deffernet...

from what I have heard whispered from my sprint reps is that the main difference will be MM5600 will have 262K internal screen. And that the MM5600 will employ the use of an explansion slot, this can be used for a variety of things, best of all being memory!

Other than that the only other key difference I know of, is the faceplates that the MM7400 have are replaceable and the MM5600 propably aren't.

i hope the new cells come with the cradles instead of the dang travel charger. that cradle for the 4500 is $80, THATS CRAZY. my lg came with a cradle and the samsung comes with a cradle, nice thing about the a700 cradle is that it has a slot for an extra battery. nice. almost kept the a700 for that reason among a few others. i want sanyo though. if they dont ship cradles though i might just go with lg again or samsung

talked to sanyo, i think they play it real dumb, dont know how they can not know about the new phones coming out BUT we know about it on here. i could be wrong. i asked about the cradle, they said from the track record, expect dang travel chargers again. man, i just feel a lil ripped. for $400, give me a dang cradle. dont be so cheap. samsung and lg seem to have the right idea. sanyo has a great product, just poorly packages it with accessories. who knows, mabey they will make me eat my words this time out...or lower the price on their cradle to round $30 *hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge*
