i answered your question in the cingular forum but here goes,

basically the phones are IDENTICAL, the difference is the V800 is the european vodaphone branded model, the V802SE is the japanese branded vodaphone model, the z800i is the generic branded model (IE SE logos instead of proprietary carrier logos), if you want to get one of these phones (i highly recommend it, i LOVE mine) then i recommend getting a v802se/v800 unlocked and reflashed w/ the z800i firmware (this is what i have), the phone works great, looks great, people always ask me if mine is the RAZR i am like PFFFFFT 🙄, the RAZR aint got nothin on mE!!!!!!!
