Hey I'm a Verizon customer whose contract ends in 2 weeks and I WANT THIS PHONE! Should I just buy it online, take it to a Cingular store and get a SIM card? And what about insurance? If I lost this thing I'd really go ape sh!te.

And another thing, are there any retail stores that display phones that are not available through the regular carriers? Like the Sony store in downtown San Francisco or whatever. Just want to test it out before I buy.

Yes you can go to the sony store and test it there. And i would advise you to go and buy it and take it to a cingular store and have them activate it. 😎

Im going to get the phone to. I found it online for $349.99. It was an open box unit with everything. I called and checked with who was selling it and they said that it was fine.
