ZTE Avail Z99 is getting annoying and frustrating

Chrome and message apps are starting to mess up. It takes the keyboard for a while to pop up. Have to swap between a battery coming with my ZTE Avail Z990 and a spare from mpj. I feel it is getting annoying and frustrating. It’s time for something new? Thinking on S5:/
