Verizon, Nokia Reveal Twist
Verizon Wireless and Nokia today announced the 7705 Twist, a phone with a unique square design that pivots open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard for messaging. A large opening at the hinge lights up, and can be customized to light up different colors for different incoming callers. The phone also accepts custom color covers, and includes the Habitat Mode interface that premiered on the Intrigue. Tech features include EVDO data, 3-megapixel camera, threaded messaging, stereo Bluetooth, 2.5mm headset jack, and a QVGA display. The 7705 Twist will be available starting September 13 for $99.99 after rebate, with contract.
