Any news on ...
... the release date for Verizon? If so, full price without extending ur contract? Thinking about selling my current RAZR to buy the KRZR.
...
how much would you sell if for ? when did you gget it ?
...
I would start it off on eBay at around 80 bucks and see how much the bid goes up. It's the discontinued v3c and it already has OBEX enabled, thanks to seem edits.
But I need the KRZR to come out first.
...
do you think the krzr woll be a good phone . better than what you have ? thanks
...
I just like the fact that MOTO is still modifying the RAZR to a point where it's narrower with some of the same functionality; plus the v3c has TERRIBLE battery life so I'm hoping they improved on that as well with the KRZR.
...
when do you think this phone will be out ?
...
There's a rumor that Sept 19th is the release date but it's a _rumor_ 😳
...
Bad battery life on the V3c is directly related to the Verizon UI.
...
Yeah but not ALL Verizon phones have the same issue. I mean, my friend has an LG phone with the same UI and the phone lasts for days. I moderately use my phone (talk time of a max of 1 hour per day) and battery already goes down to one bar.
...
That's the problem with a standard UI. Apparently it's optimized for LG phones but not for Motorola phones, and the power management for different brands are usually mutually exclusive (IE what works to save power in LG phones will not work for Motorola phones). You can flash you razor to the alltel firmware, mine lasts at least 3-4 days in standby (roughly 1.5 hours of talk time daily)
...
One correction, should have said firmware instead of UI.
...
Yeah, I'm about to ... thanks Grandul you've convinced me that it's time to get the alltell/moto UI.
But yeah, I can't wait to see the KRZR come out for Verizon since I'm not a fan of LG.
...
Hey Gandul, how would someone go about getting their phone flashed w/ the better/alltel firmware?
