Motorola SLVR L7c
Get the slvr 7Lc for Verizon?
I am due for a new phone in about a week and I like the look and feel of the Moto Slvr. I am really tired of flip phones and Verizon doesn't offer many alternatives. Chocolate seems fraught with a bad dial pad and buttiins that have a mind of their own.
Here is waht I don't care about:
1.Camera (my wife has a razr with megapizel camera and I think my samsung 670 with VGA camera takes comperable pictures....besides its a phone
2.Vcast garbage
I do want a phone that gets a good signal and gets a good call quality (Cnet kind of bashes this but many reviewers here say it sounds good) Is the mic on the side a real negative? Decent battery life. I would like to use the mp3 player, but not sure if I care that much.

Macphone, those were great questions and also my main concerns. I am looking forward to reading the responses you get. I have a like new Razr V3m I am looking to trade w/cash if necessary for a SLVR L7c.

I ended up getting the L7c. Its a really nice phone! I never got answers from anyone about stereo bluetooth, but I don't really care as mono will suffice for calls. Very good voice quality and reception!

I agree with the call quality and reception, very nice. I'll add that the battery life is NICE. I charged it after coming back from a baseball game on Sat. night, took it off charge Sun. AM and I haven't charged it again since. It's now Friday and still shows 1 block in the battery. Granted, I've only made about 30 mins. of phone calls (BT is enabled 6-6 though), but this is better than my E-815 was with the extended battery.
