Motorola SLVR L7c

We got ours in last friday from brightstar. They are nothing special. going to be the same price as razrs same menu same features. but if you really want one now you might want to try some indirects.

A newly released phn or have I just not seen it on here?

I'm thinking about going with Cricket here in Portland, OR. A co-worker is happy with them and I am waiting out a contract on a broken phone with Sprint.

Anyone know how the slvr l7c is with Cricket in Portland?

The "Info" Tab is incorrect. The internal memory is 30MB, not 64MB.

i just bought this phone and i like it so far
(not reception wise tho....)

but is this phone locked to transfer files from PC to phone and from phone to PC?
cuz i have Motorola phone tool and its not detecting the phone.

i used to use V710 and it required some hacking to do file transfering btw PC and phone.

I am a longtime Sony Ericsson user but am considering switching over to the SLVR. The biggest gripe I've had about Ericsson phones is that the microphone is so sensitive. It picks up every little noise and it drives people nuts when I call them from my car. Apparently it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel. Has anyone noticed similar problems with the SLVR? I'd hate to switch phones and such just to get the same problem. Thanks in advance.

i just bought a moto slvr L7c and i'm trying to conect it to mu computer but the cellphone didn't come with a cd and is asking me for a cd ...where can i find a driver software to download it...

I work for a sprint 3rd party store in the affiliate market. I'm due for an upgrade and am wanting the slvr, mostly because i don't like flip phones. Due to the exclusive Best Buy has i tried to upgrade there, but was not able to complete it, CS said since i'm on an employee plan i need to go through my rep. But we don't have that available. Does anybody know a way to make something work to upgrade to the slvr?

Does anyone know if this will sync well using iSync, or any other program, with Mac OS X? I'd like to really sync my address book, but would love to be able to sync to iCal also. I also have a PC and can use the Motorola Tools, or whatever it's called. I'm not sure if that would sync with Outlook though, it's been years since I've used it.

Is a candybar with bluetooth too much to ask for from Verizon? Why isn't this phone out?

My 2 years are up. Both internal and external displays on my current flip are blanked out 90% of the time because of water damage. I need this phone.

Ok everyone. Just did some checking and this is coming from the supervisor at Verizon. The SLVR L7c projected release date is December, and they did not have any release date for the KRZR K1m as of yet. All those who talk to the sales people at the stores, do not listen to them because, Verizon stopped informing them of any new phones coming out, because they blab it out to their friends and their friends tell other people. So there ya go. A matter of wait and see. 😁

Has anyone been succesfully using a 4 GB Mini SD card, in their SLVR's? Any feed back would be appreciated, thanks

Is it coming out for cingular?

I called VZW today about my NE2 credit. I was told KRZR will be out Thursday at Verizonwireless.com and in stores 10/5. I also asked about the SLVR L7C. He told me that nothing offical has been announced but there are planned Get It Now releases scheduled in late October for the "L7C" on spreadsheets in the VZW database. He said with that shown it should be out in late October/early November. With this said, it's offically in the VZW database with scheduled Get It Now released in November. Take it for what it's worth...

Ok I finally got one at best buy. $160 with and instant rebate. Its a little thicker than the cingular version but i got use to it in about a day. BIG improvement over my Sanyo PM-8200.

BUT!!!

The problem i am having is the interface is way too slow. It was not that way the first day but has gotten real slow. searching through the address book and trying to text too fast will slow it down.

I use gmail religiously and like the new application i downloaded to my phone but has anyone figured out how to link the calendar to google calander. I have tried goosync and gcalsync, but neither seem to work with this phone. any help would be great.

The Denver Best Buy guy wasn't even aware that it was in but I got to play around with it. It was bigger that I originally thought and I might be leaning back to the KRZR. I have read some rumors that Best Buy will be the only place to have it. The BB guy also said that only Sprint has the KRZR. I really wanted to do a side-by-side with the two.
